Chris Brown Wrecks Porsche, Says He'll "Get Another' (PHOTOS/VIDEO)

Embattled R&B singer Chris Brown drove his black Porsche into a wall while attempting to evade paparazzi.

Brown told Beverly Hills police that he was being aggressively pursued by photographers until right before the crash, Reuters reports.

The accident occurred Feb. 9, the eve of the Grammy Awards, where Brown was nominated for Best Urban Contemporary Pop Album for his record "Fortune". See photos here.

According to Reuters, the wreck coincided with another pre-Grammy incident four years earlier, when Brown assaulted his girlfriend, pop star Rihanna, before the awards show in 2009.

Brown was uninjured in the crash and appeared at the Grammy Awards the next day wearing a white suit. He sat next to on-again girlfriend Rihanna.

In a video interview with E!'s Ryan Seacrest asked Brown about his the damage to his car after the accident.

"Yeah, I'll get another one," Brown said in the video. "Insurance is good."

When Seacrest asked what happened, Brown responded, "You know, a couple crazy things, you know. Paparazzi can tend to get out of hand."

However, contradicting reports from the agency representing the photographers state that the paparazzi arrived on scene after Brown lost control of his Porsche.

Chris Doherty, cheif of INF photograpy agency told TMZ he is positive his photographers has nothing to do with Brown crashing.

"He crashed his car and it's convenient for him to blame us," Doherty said according to the Daily Mail. "He needs to be careful with his defamatory statements."

In a widely publicized 2009 incident, Brown pleaded guilty to beating Rihanna and, according to Reuters, faces ongoing legal troubles stemming from the case.
