Arnold Clark Wishaw Dealership Bags Volkswagen Top Retailer Award

German automaker Volkswagen recently bestowed the award of United Kingdom's best Volkswagen retailer to Volkswagen Wishaw, a dealership branch owned by Arnold Clark. Volkswagen gave the award to Mr. Clark's dealership during the automaker's One Business Award.

Mr. Clark's Volkswagen Wishaw branch came on top of 190 retailers throughout the UK and Northern Island regions. The award was given after careful deliberation with criteria including sales, customer satisfaction, and staff training.

"This is a real testament to the hard work and dedication of our staff at Wishaw, who have expert knowledge in Volkswagen cars and continually provide the best possible service for our customers," Arnold Clark Volkswagen franchise manager Roch Starrs said in a statement acquired by Automotive Management Online,

Volkswagen praised Mr. Clark's Wishaw dealership branch for its leadership which stems from its managers and trickled down to the staffs. Volkswagen added that the branch is focused when it comes to "delivering the basics brilliantly." It is also the "can-do" attitude of the staff that made them stand out on top of the rest.

Volkswagen Wishaw general manager Craig Montgomery has been with the branch for more than 12 years. A testament to the dedication of the upper echelon staff which radiates and inspires confidence down to other employees.

In his speech, Mr. Montgomery thanked all the members of the staff of Wishaw branch for their utmost dedication to their job. He added that their work as a team is what made their branch successful and it is what drives them to deliver excellent customer services, according to Motor Trade News.

During the One Business Awards night, Volkswagen also bestowed the Commercial Vehicles' Dealership of the Year award to Swansway Garages in Liverpool. The same dealership won the Volkswagen Commercial's Customer Satisfaction Award. The award was given to the dealership during the Volkswagen Retailer Business Conference.
