La Ferrari Will Let Go Of Its Traditional Look As Ferrari Creates A New Design For The Old Car Model

Drivers who think that Ferrari LaFerrari looks traditional are in for a threat. Ferrari's Special Projects Division is creating a car that has a slicker design than before.

The shape and structure of the car are similar to LaFerrari. The new Ferrari model was patented on August 2016.

Jalopnik explained that the design has an otherworldly feel to it. They assumed that the model is created for rich clients of the famous company.

Compared to LeFerrari, this new model has some work done on its body that takes advantage of the air flow. The site reported that it has a design like flying buttresses engulfing air from its nose over the front fender, down to its sides and into its gills beyond its doors.

It has an all-black cockpit similar to LaFerrari's design. It also reminiscent of their previous models such as J50 Limited Edition that was based from Ferrari 488.

Four years ago, Ferrari LaFerrari and Porsche 918 hit the spotlight. However, they still manage to amaze enthusiasts all over the globe.

Almost four years have passed since the Ferrari LaFerrari and Porsche 918 Spyder broke cover, but they still fascinate enthusiasts.

Carscoop reported that Ferrari La Ferrari has a 6.3 liter V12 and HY-KERS unit that's pumping out 950 horses and 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) of torque. This means that it only takes less than 3 seconds for the car to sprint from 0 to 100 km/hr (62 mph). It has the top speed of 350 km/hr (217 mph).

Meanwhile, Porsche 918 Spyder has a 4.6-liter V8 engine and a pair of electric motors that can deliver 887 HP and 1,280 (940 lb-ft). It has an acceleration speed of 2.5 seconds and has a top speed of 350 km/hr (217 mph).

This is not the only good thing Ferrari has to offer for car enthusiasts. In March, they will be introducing 812 Superfast. Automotive News dubbed this as one of the most powerful series in car production.
