The 2018 Subaru Legacy is finally here. The new Legacy was officially introduced at the Chicago Auto Show which started last February 11, 2017 at the Windy City's McCormick Plaza.

The 2018 Subaru Legacy. The new Legacy sports very subtle redesigns over the previous model. Those who are meticulous enough will notice wider lower grille inlets that just goes very well with the new parking lights and headlights. The rear of the car is a bit narrower and now sports a new tailpipe design. Aside from these exterior updates, the 2018 now comes in two additional colors namely Crimson Red Pearl and Magnetite Gray Metallic.

The 2018 Legacy features a more linear electric power steering system, well-tuned dampers, and a brake pedal that's much firmer. The firmer brake pedal allows for a more confident drive in it.

Under the new Legacy's hood is a 2.5-liter flat-four engine that is paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT). It has been tweaked to be smoother and quieter and to be able to accelerate better. The top-level trim comes with a 3.6-liter six-cylinder engine.

The inside for the new Legacy features a redesigned center console and can now come in a simple gray hue in addition to the black and ivory interior colors. The interior panels of the top-level trim now sport actual detailed stitching.

The new Legacy features an optional 8.0-inch screen for its Starlink infotainment system which normally comes in just 6.5 inches and two additional USB sockets at the rear of the center console. The infotainment system's standard touchscreen size is an upgrade itself already given that the previous model only sported a 6.3-inch one. In addition, both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are supported and standard.

Safety features include dynamic headlights, individual tire pressure monitoring systems, and reverse automatic braking. This makes the Subaru Legacy much safer that it has ever been.
