The search of the perfect gift for Naruto and Hinata's wedding is on, and everyone is taking it seriously as expected. In Naruto Shippuden Episode 496, the main focus is Shikamaru's gift for the lovely couple. Something unexpected happens, Shikamaru finds love in the most unorthodox situation.

For Naruto Shippuden Episode 496 entitled "Hidden Leaf Village's Story: The Perfect Day For A Wedding," the preparation for Naruto and Hinata's wedding continues. In the latest teaser, everyone sees Choji's plan of giving Naruto what he loves the most, food. It is in the manga series that Choji will treat the soon-to-be husband and wife a lovely meal. But, it is not going to be a meal for two since Choji himself joins the banquette. In order for the couple to enjoy their meal, Choji decided to sit at a different table.

Meanwhile, Shikamaru finds his love interest in Naruto Shippuden Episode 496. In the teaser as well, Shikamaru spotted lost in the idea of what to give to Naruto and Hinata. According to speculations, Shikamaru will treat the couple to a romantic trip as a gift. A woman named Tamari suggests the said plan.

At first, Shikamaru appears hesitant to approach Tamari, but with the help of Choji, he was able to overcome this fear. What happens next is surprising, Tamari misunderstood Shikamaru's queries. At first, Shikamaru asked Tamari to come with him at the Konoha Hot Springs to see if Hinata would like the place.

Tamari thought the honeymoon was for her and Shikamaru. In awe about she saw, Tamari's face turns red making Shikamaru a little bit concerned. Tamari later then run away from the scene, Shikamaru followed her and explained that she misunderstood the idea.
