2017 Acura ILX: A Good Punch From Honda

Honda's Acura ILX is on the market for five years now. The 2017 Acura ILX defines the beauty of a compact luxury sedan vehicle with generous cabin and standard features that provide exceptional comfort for any scheduled travel or even for everyday use.

The 2017 Acura ILX is powered by a four-cylinder 2.4-liter engine that can produce up to 201 horsepower and a torque of 180 lb-ft. It works with an automatic eight-speed transmission. Its fuel economy EPA estimation is 25 mpg in the city, 35 mpg on the highway and a combined of 29 mpg.

This year, Honda's ILX is available in six different equipment levels. The variety is from the base, the AcuraWatch Plus package, the Premium with or without the A-Spec package, and Tech.

The base level comes with a 17 inches wheels, LED headlights in automatic, sunroof, keyless entry, ignition, heated mirrors, heated front seats, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, leather upholstery, eight-way power driver seat, automatic climate control, and a  fold-down rear seatback. In addition, it also includes a 5-inch information display screen and a multi-view backup camera. For entertainment, drivers can make use of the six-speaker audio system with a CD player, Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity, Siri Eyes Free smartphone app integration, USB/iPod audio interface, and Pandora radio.

The AcuraWatch Plus package is second on the list. It offers an adaptive cruise control, a collision warning, automatic braking for a front collision, lane departure system and an assist on lane and road departure.

For the Premium package, it builds on the base ILX's standard equipment. It features a four-way passenger seat, auto-dimming rearview mirror, driver memory settings, 8-inch above information display. There is also an additional seven-speaker audio system, 7-inch touchscreen, HD radio, satellite radio, Aha Radio smartphone app integration and an iPhone-based navigation app.

The model shows few improvements from the styling though the interior is somewhat parallel to the 2016 car models. Materials may also not be in the mainstream, but everything is worked and screwed perfectly.
