Dan Marino Love Child: Former Dolphins Quarterback Fathers Child with Donna Savattere, Paid Millions to Keep CBS Employee Quiet (PHOTOS/ VIDEO)

NFL Hall of Fame quarterback and CBS analyst Dan Marino has admitted he fathered a child out of wedlock with another CBS employee in 2005 according to a report by the New York Post.

Marino reportedly had an affair with a 35-year-old former CBS Sports production assistant Donna Savattere and the two had a daughter, Chloe, in 2005.

"This is a personal and private matter. I take full responsibility both personally and financially for my actions now as I did then," Marino said in a press statement regarding the child. "We mutually agreed to keep our arrangement private to protect all parties involved."

Marino has been married for 28 years to his wife Claire according to the New York Post. The report states Marino has four sons and two adopted daughters with his wife.

After the birth of Chloe, Marino agreed to pay "millions" to Savattere and moved her from New York to Texas to keep their child and their relationship private. Marino has had "sporadic" contact with Chloe since her birth.

Savattere has since married and had another child after moving back to New York according to Yahoo.

"Dan has said all there is to say on this matter and he'll be in his usual role on our broadcast Super Bowl Sunday," said CBS Spokeswoman Jen Sabatelle to USA Today.

Marino was hired to be a member of CBS's The NFL Today pregame show back in 2003. He's scheduled to take part in the CBS Super Bowl telecast on Feb. 3, which starts at 2 p.m. The game is scheduled to kickoff at 6:30 p.m.

"My wife and I have been married for almost 30 years and have six children together," said Marino according to the New York Post. "And we continue to be a strong and loving family."

Marino, 51, spent his entire career in Miami, where he won the NFL MVP award in 1984 and guided the Dolphins to Super Bowl XIX, which they lost to the San Francisco 49ers.
