Cadillac Opens ‘Educational’ V-Series Academy At Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch (VIDEO)

The Cadillac V-Series Academy officially opened this month in Spring Mountain Motor Resort & Country Club according to GM. The company did so to provide a location spot where people can register for one and two-day lessons to "learn the finer points" of driving in a Cadillac CTS-V.

The new academy includes over four miles worth of racetrack and 125 feet of elevation change. The curriculum challenges drivers with a number of different control exercises and on-track performance driving according to GM.

The V-Series Academy curriculum was constructed by legendary race car driver Ron Fellows, a former winner at Le Mans and the 24 Hours of Daytona.

"The experience of driving a Cadillac V-Series car is extremely convincing," said Don Butler, vice president of Cadillac marketing. "This new partnership with Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch opens a new experience in a truly luxurious setting for consumers to enhance their skills and put a series of world-class performance cars to the test."
