GTA 5 Steals PS-Exclusive Nioh's Thunder, Resident Evil 7 Drops to Third

GTA 5 has stolen newcomer Nioh's thunder by claiming the top spot in this week's UK sales charts. Last week's top performer, Resident Evil 7, has also dropped down to third.

Top 10: Full List. According to Gamespot, a complete list for this week sees Grand Theft Auto 5 at the top spot, followed by Nioh and Resident Evil 7 at #2 and #3, respectively. FIFA 17 gets the #4 spot followed by Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare at #5. Battlefield 1, Rocket League, and Hitman: The Complete Season is at #6, #7, and #8, respectively. At #9 and #10 are Overwatch and Watch Dogs 2.

However, VG247 reported that Nioh still actually topped the revenue charts across all platforms. It has a higher price point than GTA 5.

Grand Theft Auto 5. Grand Theft Auto 5 is an open world action-adventure video games developed by Rockstar Games. It was released in 2013 with little to no definite news about its sequel. It continues to remain popular mainly because of all the support GTA Online continues to get.

Nioh. Nioh is a top-rated action role-playing video game that was developed by Team Ninja as a PlayStation 4 exclusive. It was just recently released worldwide last week and has slowly risen to the top of the charts.

The game takes place in Japan in the year 1600. The main protagonist is a European samurai named William and players need to guide him through missions fighting both human and supernatural enemies.

Nioh is a game that is hard. Some players even claim it is too hard. However, there is a new exploit which makes defeating any boss really easy.

Resident Evil 7. Resident Evil 7 is a survival horror game that was just released last month. It was published and developed by Capcom and was reported to be very, very scary, with the first hour of the game being too intense for some players.

GTA 5 continues to be one of the top performing games because of Grand Theft Auto Online. Will it continue to be at the top of the charts or will Nioh eventually be able to unseat it?
