‘Pokémon Sun and Moon’ Update: Stop By GameStop To Collect Your Bottle Cap; Latest Giveaway Disappointing

"Pokémon Sun and Moon" has something new in its offering. The Pokémon trainers can pay a visit to GameStop any time from now until March 5 to pick an item that can be used in the game.

The new item that the game is giving away is a silver bottle cap. Reports state that this is a bust and probably the most disappointing giveaways yet.

The bottle cap that the players collect from GameStop can be used in the game during Hyper Training. This is a new feature that has been added. It helps the players boost and increase their Pokémon's IV (individual value stats.) The collected bottle caps come handy to increase the power of multiple members of the fighting team, reported Polygon.

Collecting bottle caps at the GameStop can be very time consuming too. The players must use the Festival Plaza and Poké Pelago modes to start collecting silver bottle caps. However, there are ways in which the gamers have created a workaround to collect bottle caps without even going to GameStop.

It is reported that there is a specific lottery shop that players of "Pokemon Sun and Moon" can install in the Festival Plaza which will give them multiple bottle caps daily. The deal is not very sophisticated but it would still serve the purpose. It would also save a lot of time. The players who are enthusiastic about Hyper Training can use this technique rather than wasting time at the Festival Plaza, reported Hard Core Gamer.

Apart from this, it is also said that there are other ways to collect the bottle caps. The giveaway at GameStop hence does not seem very interesting or even worth the effort. The fanbase of "Pokemon Sun and Moon" are a bit disappointed as the new offering was the least appealing. The whole campaign has disappointed the game's hard core players.
