The all new 2018 Honda Odyssey is considered as one of the best minivans in the industry, and if everybody had seen it, they would agree. Along with an updated look, upgraded mechanics, and full complement of connected and safety tech, the minivan confirms its place as a minivan benchmark.
The all new 2018 Honda Odyssey this year features some styling tweaks that will make it more like a tall wagon. The new minivan is overhauled underneath as well, equipped with a new chassis with a new rear suspension that has been presented in a new way to be less intrusive and showed what the automaker says is class-leading cargo space.
The minivan is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine, which offers a 280 horsepower. It will be paired with a nine-speed or an optional 10-speed automatic transmission.
Inside, the automaker made the car's seats more flexible with its new Magic Slide seats. It also gets a new comfort and convenience tech such as the new Cabin Watch system that uses a camera to beam a view of the passengers.
Furthermore, other optional interior features will include heated and ventilated front seats, three-zone climate control, stain-resistant leather, wireless device charging, a hands-free power liftgate, and the HondaVac vacuum that is located in the rear cargo area. Not only that, the automaker made the inside more comfortable, thanks to the thicker door seals, additional sound damping material to the floor, engine compartments and fenders, and thicker acoustic front and side glass.
Nowadays, families on the go expect a lot of connected techs. So the minivan is loaded with a Wi-Fi, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto, and also an optional rear entertainment system that comes with a 10.2-inch drop-down display mounted on the car's ceiling. Spotify, Satellite Radio, Pandora and HD radio are also available.
The all-new minivan also comes with the latest safety tech, including the Sensing feature package, which has an automatic emergency braking, lane keeping assist and road departure mitigation and much more. Honda announced that the 2018 Odyssey would go on sale this spring.
