President Barack Obama took the oath of office this weekend to officially begin his second term in office.
Obama was sworn in by U.S. Chief Justice John Roberts at 11:55 a.m. on Jan. 20 during a small ceremony in the White House. He's set to take the oath again outside the U.S. Capital where he will deliver his inaugural address to thousands of onlookers and millions watching at home according to Bloomberg News.
"What we are celebrating is not the election or the swearing in of the president, what we are doing is celebrating each other and celebrating this incredible nation that we call home," said Obama this weekend according to The Telegraph.

Experts predict that the crowd at Obama's second inauguration won't attract as many people as last time. Over 1.8 million people attended the 2009 inauguration, as most people wanted to witness history take place as Obama became the first ever African-American President according to the Associated Press.
"In this winter of our hardship, let us remember these timeless words," Mr. Obama said in his speech in 2009. "With hope and virtue, let us brave once more the icy currents, and endure what storms may come."
Around 600,000 people are expected at the 2013 inauguration which happens to fall on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
The 44 U.S. President will set the tone for the next four years during his address, which could feature a lot of goals he set four years ago that he's still working on.
When Obama was sworn in the first time, seven out of 10 Americans stated that they were thrilled or happy in a CNN survey that Obama was taking office. Now, that number is down to around 50 percent according to a study conducted shortly after the election.
Obama's first term featured major reforms of the health care industry, giving the okay to kill Osama Bin Laden, and most recently his opinion on gun control.
With the shootings at a Connecticut elementary school in December, Obama has put address gun control as priority number one. Obama's proposed includes a new assault weapons ban and mandatory background check for those who wish to purchase a gun this week as the U.S. government continues to try to find ways to make the country safer.
