2018 Toyota RAV4 Adventure Revealed at Chicago Auto Show

The 2018 Toyota RAV4 was recently debuted at the 2017 Chicago Auto Show. The SUV was a special edition Adventure model which will begin arriving in dealer showrooms by September of this year.

Toyota continues to amaze everyone with a wide array of very capable vehicles including the Land Cruiser, the 4Runner, and the Tundra. The RAV4 is one of Toyota's top-selling vehicles in the compact SUV segment. This year, the Japanese automobile manufacturer has once again continued to keep their momentum with the RAV4 Adventure package.

USA Today reported that the Adventure is marketed to those with an active lifestyle. It is available in two versions, both of which feature a standard towing package. This includes an upgraded radiator, transmission fluid coolers, supplemental engine oil, and a suspension system with higher ride height.

The small crossover SUV will be available in either the automaker's Dynamic Torque Control all-wheel-drive system or front-wheel drive with an Automatic Limited-Slip Differential. Its capability continues with large over fender flares, lower bodyguards, 18-inch black alloy wheels, and roof rails. It also has black headlight bezels, black fog lamp surrounds, and an Adventure badge to complement the rugged styling.

Inside, the Toyota RAV4 Adventure's interior will completely blow most people away. It sets itself apart with unique with unique interior trim panels, Adventure door sill protectors, all-weather floor mats and cargo mats, and a power outlet in the cargo area.

Apart from the Tow Prep Package mentioned above, Motor Trend reports that the crossover SUV also comes with a stock Trailer Sway Control, Toyota Safety Sense-P suite for convenience and safety features, as well as a Hill-Start Assist Control. Additionally, a Cold Weather Package is also available for colder climates.

The 2018 Toyota RAV4 was debuted alongside the 2018 Toyota Tundra and Sequoia at the Chicago Auto Show. Pricing has yet to be announced, but it is expected to be available at dealerships by September of this year.
