"E! is excited to welcome Volkswagen of America as the first-ever partner for all five award shows for E! Live From the Red Carpet," said Patty Gilchrist, SVP E! Ad Sales in the company press release.

The 2013 Jetta is currently used in two advertisements, such as "Bad Dod, Good Volkswagen," which is set to be shown during the Golden Globes on Jan. 13.

Another commercial called "Door Thunk" will be shown during the SAG awards on Jan. 27.

The company has also announced at least two more commercials will be showcased during the award show season. A 30 second ad called "Passing Lane" will be shown during the Grammys in February, and the Jetta Hybrid will have a spot during the Academy Awards.

The Jetta Hybrid features five engine options, including a gasoline 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder, 2.5-liter inline five-cylinder, 2.0-liter TSI turbocharged four-cylinder and 2.0-liter TDI Clean Diesel according to Volkswagen.

Volkswagen will help "Fashion Police" co-host George Kotsiopoulos as he drives around the streets of Los Angeles in a custom "Squad Car" edition of the 2013 Volkswagen Jetta. Special "Fashion Squad" episodes will air on E! Online during the award show season, and will feature Kotsiopoulos handing out citations that compliment someone's appearance or good attitude.

"Volkswagen is a great partner who recognized that E! is the premier media destination for all things pop culture, and we are looking forward to what will be the ultimate celebration of celebrity style as the perfect place to showcase Volkswagen's great, affordable automotive design," said Gilchrist in the press release.
