Kaley Cuoco Joins William Shatner In New Priceline Negotiator Ad Campaign (VIDEO)

Priceline revealed this week that "Big Bang Theory" actress Kaley Cuoco will star with William Shatner in a new "Priceline Negotiator" ad campaign set to being this month. Priceline released the news in a press release this week.

Cuoco will be playing the daughter of Shatner's popular "Negotiator" character, who he dropped off at a monastery as a child 20 years ago. The commercial then pans to modern day where Cuoco is now a "highly skilled in the art of finding the best travel deals" according to Priceline.

 

"It's definitely exciting working with Bill, and being part of a campaign and a brand that I've pretty much grown up with," said Cuoco in the press release. "He has single-handedly built the Priceline Negotiator into a pop culture icon. I think there's a lot of overlap in our fans, who will appreciate seeing us together as a father and daughter team. And who wouldn't want to be William Shatner 's daughter?"

The news comes a little over a year after they had Shatner's character die in a bus explosion, seemingly ending his run as the company's spokesman.

Priceline executives decided in Jan. 2012 that the Negotiator character didn't "fit with their new sales model" so they killed the character off. They quickly realized how big of a mistake they made, and brought the character back just a few months later.

"The Negotiator harbors many secrets, and this is just one of them," said Mr. Shatner in the press release about the new commercial. "It's another layer to the enigma of The Negotiator that shows us there are many different ways to find great hotel deals. And, as in life, there is something new he can learn from a younger perspective."

Cuoco is also set to star in a pricey Toyota advertisement that will run during the Super Bowl this coming February. The commercial will also star supermodels Bar Refaeli and Kate Upton.

"When I saw the concept for the commercial, I knew it was something I wanted to do," Cuoco said of the commercial that has yet to be revealed to the public according to Business Insider.
