During the Super Bowl LI, fans of the hit Netflix series were surprised by the "Stranger Things" Season 2 teaser trailer. Fans were very excited to see their favorite characters on screen.
The teaser trailer for the Stranger Things' second season wasn't very long. However, it was packed with tons of details and hints at what's coming next. Although only a few scenes were featured, there were also a lot of information based on the background, sounds, and dialogues.
From the trailer, fans already know Eleven will be back. A brand new monster will also be making its debut in the second season. According to spoilers, this new monster will make the Demogorgon seem like a butterfly in comparison.
There are also a few details on the Stranger Things Season 2 teaser which are crucial to the story line. For starters, the second season was set on 1984, just a year after the events in season 1.
There was also spinning arcade sign featured in the teaser. This could very well be a major location for the upcoming season. The teaser trailer also showed three of the four main boys riding their bicycles down the street. Either the boys are going incredibly fast, or the clip was edited to fit the commercial quickly. They are also wearing matching outfits.
Fans are also speculating whether or not Will and Joyce's house will get destroyed this season. In the trailer, Jim Hopper is shown touching a wall when something explodes.
A few seconds later, Hopper is digging during the night. This can never be a good sign. It also seems like he's upset.
One of the most controversial clips from the Stranger Things Season 2 teaser was with this mysterious shot (see photo below). Fans are speculating whether this could be one person, two persons or an optical illusion.
This person is also holding a welding device which looks a little bit like an electric cattle prod - not a good sign. Based on the background, this scene could be connected with Dr. Brenner or the Laboratory.
A few scenes later, fans can see a drawing of a giant, almost spider-like creature looming over a field. The drawing was on a desk next to a harmonica, a baseball, a small trophy and other stuff.
According to reports, this could be Will's drawing. This drawing could also be the reason why Will was taken in for tests. In the next scene, Will is up late, looking at his door. The door suddenly opens, and a scary red light creeps into the room.
These are only some of the epic moments from the Stranger Things Season 2 teaser. The second season of Netflix's hit show will be released on Halloween, October 30th.
