Toyota uses "Eye candy that feeds your desire" as its tagline for the latest 2018 Toyota Camry. The automaker boasts of the new car's authority to lure with its aggressive and stylish overhaul design with driver-centered controls and peace of mind feature backed with Toyota Safety Sense P (TSS-P). It also comes with Driver Assist Package, elegant interiors and Entune 3.0 premium JBL audio sound system.
The quad chrome tips gave the new sedan that sporty look. The lowered roofline also contributes to the seductive shape and sportier nature of the new Camry.
Toyota CEO Akio Toyoda presented the 2018 Camry at the Detroit Auto Show. Akio Toyoda also discussed that he has required more stirring and adventurous designs to overhaul the unappealing cars from its current lineup. He also emphasized that he is greatly involved in the design process, Car and Driver reported.
In the said event, it was also detailed that Toyota considered three major goals for the new design of the 2018 Toyota Camry. The top three goals are the low center of gravity, sporty but upscale personality inside out, and the elegant yet affordable style cabin, TopExaminer has noted.
The cabin profile includes the use of premium materials for the dashboard, center console, instrument panel, door trim and others. The interior designs also present a mix of hues for a stylish cabin space for visual satisfaction and comfort.
The rear and front fenders sport some flashy character lines which make the new Camry sportier than it has ever been. It also has a lower roofline and lower seating positions for the passengers, without damaging interior space.
The new sedan promises fuel efficiency. The 2018 Toyota Camry boasts of its TNGA-inspired 2.5-liter 4-cylinder Dynamic Force Engine. This new engine aim on higher torque, lower fuel consumption and higher power. It also runs with the newest version of Toyota's Variable Valve-Timing-intelligent Electric (VVT-iE).
