"Mass Effect: Andromeda" trailer is out now and its shows some freshly epic gameplay. EA released the trailer as a push to promote bonuses if players preorder the sci-fi game.
Although the launch of the upcoming action role-playing video game is only a few weeks away, EA and BioWare haven't totally removed the blanket of mystery surrounding the sci-fi franchise. However, the "Mass Effect: Andromeda" trailer showcased a few tidbits of the game's multiplayer mode.
According to GameSpot, the multiplayer mode seen in "Mass Effect: Andromeda" trailer looks much similar to that of the same mode in "Mass Effect 3," involving a battle against Ai-controlled enemies. The characters in the gameplay trailer are show using Biotic powers.
Meanwhile, by preordering "Mass Effect: Andromeda," players will get a Multiplayer Booster Pack for the multiplayer mode, a Unique Skin for the all-terrain 6-wheel-drive planetary car Nomad, and a Deep Space Explorer Armor for Ryder, the game's protagonist. The pack comes with 5 50% XP boosters, according to VG247.
Based on the game's trailer, the boosters could help build up experience and allow you to level up a bit faster. Also, the weapons and other items seem to be delivered via loot boxes. These, in turn, could be used to customize the characters and make sure that they are indeed powerful. Plus, it seems to appear that the teams will be designated by color as they compete against each other.
Meanwhile, another video was released by BioWare that features Christine Lakin as the voice actress for the new Asari character, Peebee. She will make her debut in the upcoming game. Also, EA showed off the new baddie, Archon, and some of the teammate characters in a cinematic trailer last month.
"Mass Effect: Andromeda" will go live on March 21 for North America and March 23 for Europe and will be available for all major platforms: PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. Check out the "Mass Effect: Andromeda" gameplay trailer below.
