The Jollylook is the first cardboard vintage instant camera, which is made from recycled materials like cardboard and works on Fujifilm Instax mini film. It is the camera's Kickstarter campaign that reached over $18,000 more than its target goal.
The camera's body and the shutter lens together with aperture were made of recycled laminated cardboard. It showcases a retro design. It can be collapsed and bent, which makes 85 x 127 x 48 mm folded size.
The Jollylook recycled camera is made from analog plastic and metal camera. The camera lens is can be set to landscape, macro, group, and portrait position. The vintage cardboard camera can be operated by hand without any electronics. It is an environment-friendly and it utilizes used casing of a regular camera.
To use it, it instructs simple steps. First, position the lens to the desired angle, either portrait landscape. Then, choose the aperture via the manual adjustment values of the pinhole. Pull out the viewfinder and take a glance through it. Compress the shutter down to release the button. Then, roll out the exposed photo by twisting the handle. The twisting of the handle helps the capsule crash into the processing liquid and the developing process will take place. Finally, an instant photo will be perfectly captured.
The Fujifilm Instax mini film acquires ten instant classic color shots. The film's cartridges can be changed repeatedly. The instant photo size is 62 mm in height and 46 mm in width. It comes out with an 110 mm meniscus lens. The Fresnel lens can be featured as the viewfinder, which is inserted into the camera's pinhole.
The viewfinder has an aperture that can be set from f/8 to f/64 of the manual adjustment values. The Jollylook vintage camera uses an automatic shutter system. It offers snaps at the speed of 1/250 or 1/160. The cardboard vintage camera can photograph as near as 20 inches.
