Specialty Vehicle Engineering of Toms River, New Jersey has dropped a supercharged V-8 into the engine bay of the 2017 Chevrolet Camaro. The result is nothing short of extraordinary.

Earlier this year, Auto World News has reported about the unveiling of the 'Yenko' 2017 Chevrolet Corvette. With its success, Specialty Vehicle Engineering of Toms River decided to drop the Yenko 2017 Camaro.

The 2017 Chevrolet Camaro matches the Corvette's 800 horsepower and can produce 750 pound-feet of torque. According to Motor Authority, it is based on a Camaro SS.

Consumers will have the option between a coupe and a convertible as well as a 6-speed manual and 8-speed automatic transmission. Aside from these, there are also plenty of track-friendly options to choose from such as the Magnetic Ride Control Suspension, differential cooling systems, powerful Brembo brakes and more.

The 'Yenko' 2017 Chevrolet Camaro also equipped a rebuilt LT1 V-8 which features a supercharger. It can load up to 6.8 liters as opposed to the standard 6.2 liters, this is all because of a stroker hit added as an upgrade.

More upgrades include an SVE instead of a crankshaft and H-beam rods and pistons with stronger pieces. On the outside, it sports a custom badging and decals plus a chunky 20x10-inch heritage-style wheels.

These wheels are wrapped with Goodyear Eagle F1 tires. As for what's on the inside, it can be customized with a leather package. Even the doors are customized with sills and floor mats.

Of course, it is important to note that these modern Yenkos including the 2017 Chevrolet Camaro aren't related to the muscle cars from Yenko Chevrolet of Canonsburg, Pennsylvania. Specialty Vehicle Engineering uses the name under license from General Marketing Capital Incorporated.

According to reports, SVE will build just 50 examples of the 2017 model. This means interested buyers better get their wallets out quickly - prices are yet to be revealed.
