The Chevrolet last Holden Commodore vehicle has an updated engine which improved its powertrain to reach more than 600hp. It also has specific transmission and similar Corvette features. What are the specs?

The Specs. Car enthusiasts were lucky enough to have driven the last Holden Commodore vehicle. Swerving through Australia, the model was pegged to have improved powertrain which made it more attractive for those who would kill for high-performance cars.

As reported by Jalopnik, the last installment of the franchise has been installed with a ZR-1 supercharged LS9 engine which could be found in the Corvette. With the updated engine comes faster horsepower which could reach up to 636. With respect to the model's transmission, consumers could acquire it as a 6-speed manual.

The latest Holden Commodore has a 6.2L capacity V-8 engine which can reach 601 lb.-ft. of torque. On top of which, the short gears maximized its liftoff and have bigger AP Racing brakes. Other features include the motorsport-spec adjustable dampers which were produced by SupaShock, reported The Drive. It also has the front-wheel drive feature.

The model could go 0-60 at 4.2secs. and could cover a quarter-mile within 12.1secs. On top of which, it had been installed with a luminescent track gear and an HSV operated by Walkinshaw Performance. The interiors of the vehicle comprised of a steering wheel with diamond trimming, seats with shock-shift grip, and an agro spoiler that improved its intake.  

Production Updates. The last Holden Commodore vehicle would start production by April of this year. There would only be 300 units to be made which can be purchased at $130,000 in local currency. The non-W1 version, however, would not have a production limit. This year's production likewise marks the last hurrah of the franchise. To wit, the model's developments had been likened to the fifth-generation Pontiac GTO and the epic Chevrolet Camaro.
