The Moto Mod's camera packs with a main camera of 13-megapixel on the rear and a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies. It runs on Android 6.0.1 and it is powered by a 26000mAh non-removable battery. It measures 153.30 in height, 75.30 in widths, 5.19 in of thickness, and weighs 136.00 grams.
Lenovo is building an ecosystem of sensors that can be accessed directly from a Moto Z device with Moto Mod. The target frequency bands are license free and present no cost to the users. It kicks off an Indiegogo campaign last January, however, it is not exactly clear what the crowd funding effort will entail but it will focus on getting developers more involved in the Mods category.
The Enterprise and Consumer Version of the Modulator software are sharing many features including AES-256 encryption and randomized frequency. The Moto Mod apps support multiple channels with each channel protected by a secret key that never shared over the network.
