The Harley-Davidson will replace the most popular flat-tracker XR750. The Harley-Davidson Factory Flat Track Racing Team will compete on the new XG750R throughout the 2017 American Flat Track series in March.
The XG750R is powered by fuel-injected 750cc Revolution X V-twin platform. Kennedy added that the purebred racing motorcycle's engine will be available at the dealer in Street 750 motorcycle. The engine is well-designed by Harley-Davidson engineers. It is assembled in Kansas at the at Harley-Davidson Vehicle and Powertrain Operations.
It is the first all-new flat track racing motorcycle in 44 years. Last year, it was first utilized in competition by Davis Fisher of the Harley-Davidson Screamin' Eagle Factory Team in the GNC1 race at the AMA Pro Flat Track Circuit of the Americas Half-Mile.
The engine layout of XG750R is 60-degree V-twin, while XG750 is 45-degree V-twin. The XG750 uses air for cooling, while XG750R uses liquid. The fuel delivery of XG750 is carburetion, while XG750R is injection fuel delivery.
The predecessor motorcycle has two valves per cylinder, while XG750R has four. The new motorcycle has single overhead camshaft and plain crankshaft bearings, while XG750 has push road valve actuation and roller crankshaft. The XG750 uses fork and blade, while the latest model has conventional. The XG750R offers a Rev Limiter and reflecting newer technology on its road to drag racing success.

The latest Harley Flat Tracker will be unveiled during ESPN's X Games Aspen. The new adventure will begin on March 16 at Daytona TT (Daytona International Speedway). The Harley-Davidson Factory Flat Track Racing Team collaborated with Vance and Hines. It will be live on ABC at 2:44 pm EST.
