Rafael Nadal and His Kia Sportage 'X-Car' [VIDEO]

Rafael Nadal, tennis superstar and Kia global brand ambassador, has a very unique "X-Car." It is based off the Sportage and is a one-of-a-kind collaboration with Twentieth Century Fox. Its design is modeled after the X-Men character Mystique (played by Jennifer Lawrence).

The Spanish player is more commonly known by his nickname "Rafa." He is left-handed and is known as one of the greatest clay-court tennis players in history and has been titled as "The King of Clay." Some even consider Rafa to be the greatest tennis player of all time.

The tennis superstar has one a total of 14 Grand Slam singles titles, 28 titles in ATP World Tour Masters 1000 events, and 17 ATP World Tour 500 tournaments. He even won the 2008 Olympic gold medal in singles and the Spain Davis Cup Team in 2004, 2008, 2009, and 2011.

During this year's Australian Open he bested Mayer, Baghdatis, Zverev, Monfils, Raonic, and Dimitrov. He, unfortunately, lost to Swiss superstar Roger Federer for the Australian Open Title yesterday.

Australian Open 2016. Rafael Nadal first lifted the cover of his Kia "X-Car" during last year's Australian Open in Melbourne. This was during the VIK handover ceremony.

During the ceremony, 110 official courtesy vehicles were also handed over by Kia. The cars were driven by 225 specially trained volunteer drivers and covered more than 300,000 kilometers throughout the duration of the tournament.

The beautiful CUV (Crossover Utility Vehicle) has a unique design which features a special textured "tone-on-tone" matte and glossy blue paint finish. The color looks very much like Mystique's outer skin color. In addition, the racing wheels and tires of the vehicle have red and yellow bodywork highlights, similar to Mystique's red hair and yellow eyes.

During the 2015 Australian Open, a similar collaboration was done with Fox for a Wolverine-inspired Sorento. This was done to promote the Blu-Ray and DVD release of "X-Men: Days of Future Past."

Rafael Nadal and his Kia X-Car also had a very fun promotional video. While this year's Australian Open didn't have a new Kia X-Car or didn't give Rafa the title, he is still one of the greatest tennis players in the world.
