Audi Dropped The 2017 R8 Spyder Price And Lamborghini Will Not Be Happy

Audi has finally dropped the bombshell! Reports are now circulating the price for the latest 2017 R8 Spyder and car enthusiasts were appalled with the revealed gorgeous price.

The 2017 Audi R8 Spyder has a competitive starting price of $176,350 which is already inclusive of tax and documentation fees for title and registration. This tag price is relatively similar to its predecessor, the automatic R8 Spyder V10.

Apparently, Audi R8 Spyder's price tag definitely looks gorgeous than its rival, the Lamborghini Huracan. The latter starts with a $267,545 price tag for its similar specs of AWD 5.2-liter V10 and same engine to match with the current R8 Spyder V10.

Unfortunately, Audi has not revealed the price tag for the R8 Spyder V10 Plus. Considering the previous pricing for the coupe, which is $27,000 more expensive that the previous R8 V10, the 2017 Audi R8 Spyder V10 Plus is predicted to cost around $203,000, Autoblog has noted. With a substantial $65,000 difference between the price tags of the two luxury cars, will the Italian automaker make a counter offer in the next few days?

The 2017 Audi R8 Spyder is coming out with the same elegance as with its predecessor. Fans can expect some variance in the rear decklid design of the new supercar. Also, the convertible roof comes with a soft top and utilizes an electrohydraulic system to lift or put down the roof in a quicker time of only 20 seconds, running at 31 mph maximum. This roofing system is reportedly adding only 97 lbs on the weight of the supercar.

The new R8 Spyder also boasts of its luxurious fine leather and Alcantara upholstery. The new supercar also features 4G LTE Wi-Fi system and a digital Virtual Cockpit display, New York Daily News has detailed.

The upcoming 2017 Audi R8 Spyder is yet to be released later this year. Supercars fanatics still have plenty of time to save up for this gorgeously priced luxury car.
