The Project Ariana is a high 4K projector concept developed by Razer that expands the field of view in user's favorite game by using the area around its gaming monitor as an extended screen. It brings the concept of multi-color lighting to video projection.

It comes with an ultra wide 155-degree fisheye lens and a pair of the 3D-sensing camera to paint some combination of in-game footage for every game playing, related images and colored lights via Razer's Chrome lightning system.  It could detect things like furniture and it gives the best projection of images as possible.

The Project Ariana is a prototype video projector meant for providing ambiance through Razer's Chroma system which also powers those color-shifting lights in Razer's keyboards. The projector is tied directly into an array of Phillips Hue lighting and Chroma so every time the character in the game passed by a light in the room it would flicker like firelight. This project takes the Razer Chroma to a completely new dimension. 

The Project Ariana is able to light up a room with graphics making the room part of the game. The peripheral view creates the illusion that was transported to a real environment with help of the virtual reality support. When in playing games, the projector could be used to augment the room lighting to bring deeper experience and imagine lightning or gunfire flashes around the room bringing a whole new complexity to an involvement of the gamer.

Overall, the project video projector is one of the best ways to enhance video gaming skills. It takes environmental information from the video game and projects it around a room virtually engulfing a player in real-time action.

The Project Ariana is currently in the prototype phase so it will take a little while before Razor is ready for production. However, the company aims to launch it by the end of the year.
