Resident Evil 7 is confirmed, in fact, it officially launched today. With all positive criticism Capcom has received regarding the new DLC, the company wants to continue the happy train for its supporters. Today, Capcom announced that Resident Evil 7 will run full 4K resolution for PS4 Pro, and Full PSVR support.

Let's talk about the first DLC which is "Banned Footage Vol.1." A new game mode called "Ethan Must Die" comes with the first DLC released. Since Capcom has signed an exclusive contract with Sony, the first DLC will be an exclusive for PS4 for 21 days and will launch on January 31st. For PC and Xbox One users, the DLC will be available on February 21st. The DLC will cost $10 alone, but for gamers who purchased the season pass, and Deluxe Edition, the game will be free.

"Banned Footage Vol.2" is the second DLC and will feature a new game mode called "Jack's 55th Birthday." Again, it will be an exclusive for PS4 users for a few days starting February 14th. For PC and Xbox One users, the second DLC will be available a week later. It will cost $15, and free for gamers with a season pass.

As stated above, Resident Evil 7 will run at full 4K for PS4 Pro users, but 4K TV is a requirement. PlayStation VR will also receive a full support for the entire gaming experience. Options for PSVR is flexible depending on the gamers liking for full immerse VR experience.

Xbox One, Xbox One S, and NonPS4 Pro users, HDR compatible TVs can be used for greater advantage in order to enjoy crisp graphics and more detailed texture. Meanwhile, for PC users, there are also options to tweak for a greater gaming experience.
