Moto Z 2017 Leaked! Specs & Details Inside

Recently, a new Moto handset dubbed as the Motorola XT1650 was spotted at a Geekbench benchmark listing. Some of the innards of the handset makes most experts think this could be the latest Moto Z 2017.

According to the benchmark listing, this Motorola XT1650 will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC. Not only that, the Moto Z's processor will be paired with 4GB of RAM.

The product listing (which can be seen in the photo below) also reveals the smartphone will come with the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat fresh from the box. According to reports, the handset scores a surprising Single-core score of 1930 and Multi-core score of 6207.

Clearly, not much has been revealed about the device as of the moment. However, the model number obviously hints this could be the Moto Z 2017.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 is the latest flagship processor from the smartphone chipmaker. Most smartphone makers such as Nokia, LG, Xiaomi and more are expected to showcase their flagship devices powered by Snapdragon 835 at the upcoming Mobile World Congress event next month.

The Geekbench benchmark listing also hints that the said tests were run just on Saturday. Some might remember Motorola announcing the Moto Z in June last year, 2016, as it takes on the idea of modular smartphones.

According to Motorola, the phone features a 5.5-inch Quad HD display. It will have a 5.2mm thin metal and glass design, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with 4GB RAM.

This was known as the Moto Z 2016. It came with the model number XT1650 as well. This clearly indicates that the smartphone currently leaked on Geekbench could be the 2017 edition.

However, Lenovo has yet to officially announce or even mention anything about the upcoming Moto Z 2017. Readers are advised to take this information with a pinch of salt until Lenovo makes an official announcement.
