Since Microsoft stopped selling the 950 and 950 XL, it's been very difficult to find the handsets these days. First, the Lumia 650 and 735 vanished from its online Store and the following day, the AT&T-locked 640 XL was gone. Carriers also started to drop the handsets. Fortunately, it's been recently reported by Gsmarena that Microsoft Lumia 950 will be making its return to AT&T's online store.
According to MS Poweruser, consumers were not able to purchase the 950 and 950 XL. The handsets were out of stock after Microsoft decided to stop selling them in the United States and in other countries.
Phone Arena reported that AT&T will be selling the devices on its website for $289.99. However, AT&T will only be selling the black model of Microsoft Lumia 950.
Meanwhile, Microsoft also has started to sell the device again last week. The company will be offering the device along with the Lumia 950 XL and Lumia 550. U.S. consumer can now purchase the devices at any Microsoft stores in the United States and as well in other countries. Microsoft is said to be already offering the black, white and unlocked version of the 950.
The Microsoft Lumia 950 features include a 5.2-inch WQHD Clear Black Display with 1440 x 2560 resolution, 3000 mAh battery, 20 MP rear camera that includes a f/1.9 aperture, OIS, and also a Tricolor LED flash. The handset also has a 5 MP front camera that's perfect for selfies and record videos.
The handset is also built-in with 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage, and a microSD slot that has a capacity of 200GB. The Lumia 950 as well features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chipset, the Adreno 418 GPU, a hexacore 1.8 GHz CPU, and support for Continuum.
AT&T is still on of three to be offering a Windows phone. Verizon is still selling the Lumia 735, while Cricket, on the other hand, is still selling the Lumia 640 and Nokia Lumia 635. Furthermore, customers can choose an installment plan for over 30 months for the Lumia 950. Customers can just pay $9.97 per month instead of paying $289.99.
