The anticipation for 2017 Chevrolet Bolt EV didn’t last very long because Chevrolet showed a concept of their version of the car at the 2015 Detroit auto show. Since then, General Motors debuted the production at the beginning of 2016.

According to Forbes, there is a difference between the Tesla Model 3, Model S and Model X. Things like ultra minimalist dash could come as shock. The second display behind the wheel in the Model S in now gone. Now it is just a simple 15-inch landscape display in the center of the dash. People were amazed by the giant panoramic glass roof, comfortable seats, and speed.

Compared to Tesla Model 3, Chevrolet Bolt is a different beast car. It is a crossover which can appeal to women and small families. The 240 mile-ish battery range makes Bolt remarkable. The acceleration is smooth and the instant EV torque is good and quiet. The interior of EV is decidedly low-key with no-frills. The Bolt is also available now and the Tesla Model 3 isn’t.

General Motors debuted the production of Bolt at the beginning of 2016 where they divulged most of the car’s technical details. A few months before the Bolt is scheduled to go on sale people got the chance to drive a Bolt EV in California to test its driving range. It’s starting price is $30.000 and a driving range of 200-plus miles on a single charge, Car And Driver reported. Although this is not the final price but anyway, it will definitely be worth it.

In order to prove that the Bolt can go that far on a single charge, Chevrolet planned out a route from Monterey to Santa Barbara, California. After 238 miles, they arrived at their destination with the range estimator displaying 34 miles remaining. There are no further questions questing Bolt’s ability to outperform Chevy’s initial estimate.
