Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini Now Available For Purchase On Amazon, Listed For $405, Still On Backorder At Many Local Retail Stores (VIDEO)

Many local retail cellphone stores have been selling out of the newly released Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini at an alarming rate. Just because you may not be able to purchase the phone at a local store doesn't mean you can't have the phone when you want though.

Amazon is now selling the S3 Mini phone in the U.S. so if you have been waiting for weeks on end for the Mini to come back into stock at your local store, or even if you've had problems with the actual Samsung store, there is finally another option.

The phone is advertised as a smaller version of the Galaxy S3, but it does have its own specific features as well.

The Mini obviously includes a smaller screen coming with a 4-inch touch screen display, but also includes a STE u8420, dual-core processor. The phone has 1GB of ram and 16GB of internal memory. The phone supports Wi-Fi connections, Bluetooth accessories, and a feature to sync your phone with up to five different devices to the internet according to the company's website.

The Mini uses the Jelly Bean operating system currently with an option to upgrade to the Project Butter operating system if a user chooses to.The Mini also comes with a 5MP camera with LED flash and 720p video recording according to Samsung.

The phone was introduced just last month as a smaller version of the popular regular S3 device for those who were looking for modifications like an upgraded software and hardware systems, new apps and features. The phone is also ideal for those who were turned away by the regular S3 option due to its size.

There is a catch of course, as Osun Defender reports there are only a limited number of phones available right now for purchase. You also will have to pay close to retail price for the phone which has been listed at $409.95 without a contract. The phone can be used through T-Mobile and AT&T network systems.
