Samsung Jelly Bean Update: New Operating System Coming Monday, Galaxy S3 Company Urges Patience

Many Samsung Galaxy S3 owners are still waiting for the Jelly Bean update to arrive on their smartphones even though some owners have been able to enjoy the new operating system for weeks. The company recently announced that most Australian users will be able to access the new operating system next week, but there is still a great deal of locations that don't have access yet and users are getting inpatient.

Starting on Monday, Nov. 26 at around 1 p.m. Australian users will be able to update their phones through an over the air update.

The company did a good job preventing more issues by stating it would take a total of two weeks for everyone to get the update, as they are scheduling to complete the updates in "batches" instead of all at once.

"This will make you among the first Australian GALAXY S III owners to receive this eagerly awaited update," said Samsung in a blog post. "But, it is released in batches so not everybody can update at the same time."

Samsung Galaxy S3 owners can complete the update using Wireless Upgrade (OTA) or by syncing their phones with the Samsung KIES desktop app according to the company.

The company advertises a number of new features that will be included in the update, like the Google Now app and Google's "Project Butter." Both have been highly anticipated by Samsung users, who are also looking forward to the company getting rid of many of the small issues and "glitches" with the phone as well.

Thousands of Galaxy owners in the U.S. have been calling and emailing the company on a daily bases to find out when the Jelly Bean update will arrive but they have yet to give a time frame. Many customers are still waiting in the U.K. as well and the longer the company takes to release the update, the more frustrated users will become.
