At the Makuhari Messe Center in Japan, car enthusiasts enjoyed a wide array of displays of old-school cars but with better specs at the 2017 Tokyo Auto Salon. This very culture of embracing the past and yet innovating for the future was considered by some as the highlight of the annual event.

The Classics. First off, the Kato-San of Liberty Walk was one of the old-school vehicles that reigned supreme at the 2017 Tokyo Auto Salon - the Toyota 86. It had a brand new transmission feature along with the Mazda RX-3 which also gained a packed crowd with its wider body kit design. On top of which, the Triumph TR3 also stood out with its impressive Work Wheels booth. Although it had been around in the auto market for quite some time, Takeshi Tanaka incorporated restored the model with its updated rims, Work Equip 40, and elusive flares reported MSN.

The Toyota Alphard also looked impressive with its embossed metal and intricate patterns incorporated into its body kit. Being a van, the model was designed according to the Wild West and the audience loved the unique concept as was manifested with how many people stayed focused at the booth.

The JDMs. Famed by Paul Walker himself in the "Fast and Furious" franchise, the Nissan Skyline R32 shone a bright light at the event. Smoky Nagata of Top Secret had incorporated updates to the vehicle which was later announced to enter the market by 2017. Previewed at the 2017 Tokyo Auto Salon, it had the Vr38 motor from the R35 GTR model and whose body was similar to the same, reported The Daily Star.

The 2017 Tokyo Auto Salon featured several vehicles with uniquely designed body kits, impressive accessories, and bright designs. However, the standouts were lodged at the old-school cars who, despite their age in the automobile industry, were innovated with artistic designs.
