Following the successful first year sales of Jaguar F-Pace, it seems that the high-end car manufacturer is currently busy with a new model. A new vehicle from Jaguar was reportedly spotted being tested on the road. Check out details below.

Last year, Jaguar has released its latest F-Pace model and sold 45,973 units, which covers about 30 percent of the company's total sales for the year. After the sweet first year victory, it seems that a new model is currently progressing in production.

According to reports, the successor for F-Pace will carry the name E-Pace. Apparently, the prototype of the new SUV, wearing the usual Jaguar's production suit, was spotted while undergoing its winter testing stage.

Motor Authority has posted several spy shots of the upcoming E-Pace. Looking at the photos, the E-Pace looks smaller than its predecessor. This smaller size seems to hint that the new SUV is the sportier type.

The photo also reveals the roofline of E-Pace is noticeably lower than its predecessor. The rear seems to have a hatchback look than a crossover design.

Furthermore, the E-Pace appears to have a rounded shape body. The new SUV also looks coupe-like than the F-Pace. 

Meanwhile, Motor1 notes that the new Jaguar E-Pace will most likely be less expensive than the F-Pace. Since the new model looks smaller, it seems that the car manufacturer is coming out with a smaller version to make it more affordable to consumers.

The publication also noted that the E-Pace is speculated to be assembled in Graz, Austria via Magna Steyr. However, other reports claim the E-Pace will be produced at the Halewood plant in U.K.

The E-Pace is expected to debut in May, after the launch of the successor for the Range Rover Sport Coupe, which is expected to come out in March as one of the highlights in the upcoming 2017 Geneva Motor Show. Check out loads of spy shots in this link.
