Great news for Batman and Chevy fans: Chevrolet built a very big Batmobile for the 2017 Detroit Auto Show. Unfortunately, Chevy's life-size Batmobile is not a functional car. But it is a welcome sight for geeks and LEGO fans around the world!

While the movie involves teeny tiny toys, this life-size Chevrolet car is anything but tiny. While it wasn't built to run, it is still as huge as a regular car.

The Caped Crusader's life-size ride is 17 feet long and nearly 7 feet tall! In addition, the LEGO car's tires weigh more than 100 pounds each. All in all, the whole car weighs approximately 1,700 pounds! That's practically the weight of a real car.

Chevy really went all out with making sure the gigantic toy was built for "The Lego Batman Movie." They made sure that the car was made entirely of the tiny plastic toys on the outside. The interior of the car also contains about 86 feet of square tube aluminum for support. This accounts for only 283 pounds of the Batmobile's weight.

The life-size toy car was built by LEGO Master Builders from Enfield, Connecticut. They used a total of 344,187 bricks in 17 different colors. They spent around 200 hours of designing Batman's LEGO ride and over 1,833 hours in building it!

For its mock listing, Chevrolet wrote that the LEGO Batmobile is available in 12 different shades of black. It comes equipped with auto-integration and a built-in 4G LTE Wi-Fi connection. The plastic car also has the latest cabin connectivity features such as hands-free calling and both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also has a whopping 20,000 horsepower and is reasonably priced at a cool $48 million. It is even said to have a monster truck mode and a parallel park mode to boot.

Fans of all ages can't wait for the new "The Lego Batman Movie." It is expected to hit cinemas on Feb. 9, 2017. In the meantime, this life-size Chevy Batmobile should keep fans happy for the next couple of weeks.
