Ever since Nintendo's event last January 12, the hype for the upcoming console, Nintendo Switch is astounding. The event also revealed what the console is capable of as well as its price on release.

To start off, Nintendo Switch comes with a 6.20inch display when undocked. This means that the console only runs at 720p with a 1280 x 720 screen resolution when using its portability. However, it can render 1080p graphics when docked on its dock and it is connected to a TV using an HDMI. As for its graphics card, the only information the company released is that it runs on a custom Tegra processor from Nvidia.

When it comes to internal storage, the Switch only comes with a built-in 32gb internal memory storage. Quite disappointing since consoles like the Playstation 4 and Xbox One comes with 500gb as their lowest amount of internal memory storage. But the good thing for it is that Switch's internal can be expanded through the use of microSD cards. This is good since there are reports that Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will take up 14gb of the console's internal.

The Switch can run up to six hours of battery life. This depends whether the console is docked or not since the system uses different configurations depending on where the console is. The company already gave an estimate with Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. They said that the game can be played for three hours when played on the go. Charging for the console is also easy since it uses the standard USB-C connection which is compatible almost everything!

Nintendo Switch is scheduled for worldwide release on March 3, 2017, for $299. This is relatively cheap for such an innovative console. The system will come in two different variations: the standard gray one and a version where the controllers are colored red and blue.
