Google Nexus 10 Tablet Sold Out at Play Store, Nexus 7 Also Sold Out In UK (VIDEO)

Google's Nexus 10 tablet has reportedly completely sold out in the United Kingdom just 24 hours after being released to the public.

On Google's Play Store, the 16GB and the 32GB versions of the 10-inch tablet aren't available for purchase and where the "Purchase Item" button usually is there is just an "Out of inventory" message.

There's no word when Google will be receiving additional Samsung tablets as it could be weeks before they're able to produce more.

The new tablet is a little narrower than its closest competitor the Apple iPad which is 21.3 ounces. It also comes with Wi-Fi 802.11n built in, Bluetooth 4.0, and is able to transfer files and media alike to other devices.

The 3G version of the Nexus 7 which went on sales on Tuesday is also sold out according to Google Play even though the phone is one of the most expensive phones in the U.K. The phone costs customers in the U.K. over 239.99 pounds according to The Inquirer. This would equal to around $380.30 in the U.S.

Singapore To Get Google Maps Navigation:

After years of anticipation, Google will finally make its Google Maps Navigation available in Singapore. The company made the announcement after also confirming they have updated there Maps Navigation system to improve the way it can assist users around the world.

Google Maps Navigation is all you need to turn any Android phone with at least version 2.2 of the mobile OS into a GPS device according to CNET.

 

No matter if you are online or offline, your phone can will be able to function like a GPS with satellite views, street views of all your destinations as you arrive, new search capabilities such as searching by postal codes and approximate names. People will also be able to search for terms like "Thai Restaurant" instead of actually knowing the exact location of a restaurant.

Essentially with the new app system and a Google device, you no longer have an excuse for why you missed a turn or drove the wrong way when meeting up with friends or loved ones.
