When the 2016 Dodge Viper ACR was tested by a car enthusiast, he indicated that the model was built with "bad welds" and that the model's chassis could not take a swift turn. In fact, a similar report indicated that the model's build was a letdown.

The Unsatisfied Customer

In response to Ward's notions, a writer from Jalopnik indicated that the model's build quality was somewhat a letdown. However, he manifested that with 645hp out of an 8.4L V10 engine has enough impressive features to be considered a letdown model. He further mentioned that if the body was detached from the vehicle, it would run smoothly. Therefore, the writer indicated that the chassis was not the problem but the body's make.

Ward also said that the model should not be called a Viper unless it would be able to handle a swift turn. He indicated that the control was not impressive enough that the 2016 Dodge Viper ACR was not a legitimate one since the last model ran more fluidly than the updated version.

The Specs

Per Dodge, the 2016 Dodge Viper ACR has been built with an all-aluminum body with a front-rear drive feature. Its transmission is manual and could twist at 600lb.-ft of torque. In fact, it was considered to be aerodynamically efficient is able to balance high-speed with its carbon-fiber hood and aluminum door and sill panels.
