In HTC's latest event this January 12, the company unveiled the much-awaited smartphone at their disposal. The U Ultra series kicked off and is powered by Android Nougat.

Fans of HTC are excited in the unveiling of the company's latest line of smartphones, the U Ultra. It serves as a brand new flagship for the company's line of Android smartphones. Powered by Android's latest OS, Android Nougat, the U Ultra phone will have a custom sense user interface and artificial intelligence tweaks. Also, it will feature a secondary display, something that surfaced the internet days before HTC officially revealed it.

The secondary display is not a new concept in the world of smartphones. The idea was first crafted by LG and introduced it using their LG V10 and V20 phones. What the second screen will display is information that's normally hidden in most Android devices. There's also the issue of the U Ultra not supporting Google Daydream, Google's platform for virtual reality. Fans are quite disappointed with it because the Google Daydream is designed for Android Nougat, yet it will not be supported in one of the smartphones that runs the OS.

HTC's U Ultra will be released with two versions. One version will sport a 64GB internal storage while the other one will have 128GB internal storage. They'll both be running with a 4GB RAM, which makes the phone fast. It also comes with 3,000 mAh battery. What's new with the U Ultra series is that it will have an artificial intelligence engine. It will try to learn how someone uses their phone and will pattern it after them.  It will show the most recent apps used as well as the people recently talked to. It will recommend various things and reminders to the user because of its intelligent AI.

HTC U Ultra will be released soon and the company is already starting to take pre-orders for it. The phone is priced at $749.
