The Dodge Challenger SRT Demon, a more powerful variant of the current Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, will be presented at the 2017 New York Motor Show. The name 'Demon' debuted in 1971 in a concept car shown by Dodge at the Geneva Motor Show in 2007. A decade later, the company's muscle car will once again revolutionize everything. 

The Detroit Motor Show is not over but Dodge now has everyone looking forward to the New York Auto Show with its new Dodge Challenger SRT Demon. Dodge announced it through an official video yesterday where they labeled it as the most explosive variant of the Dodge Challenger where the Hellcat itself will bow down to its power, according to MotorAuthority.

Recently, spy photos of what appeared to be a Challenger Hellcat four-wheel drive in V6 version and the radical "wide-body" version of the Hellcat emerged. Now it is clear that it has something to do with a test mule of the new Demon.

According to Tim Kuniskis, the executive at Dodge, SRT, Chrysler and Fiat, while most cars try to be everything for everyone, the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon is conceived and designed for a subculture of enthusiasts who know that a tenth of a car and a half second is its reputation. Which is why everyone needs to prepare for its power.

The new SRT Demon fits perfectly into Dodge's strategy and now it has been made clearer while Dodge delays the release of the new generation Charger and Challenger until the end of this decade. It will be more impressive, however, if it fits the Challenger SRT Hellcat with 707 hp and the Dodge Viper ACR 645 hp, as said by MotorTrend.

The New York Auto Show opens in April and until then, Dodge will release a series of videos to keep the attention of followers until the release of the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon. Watch the first teaser video below.
