Razer Update On Two Prototypes Stolen From CES 2017 Booth

Razer’s laptop prototype gets stolen at this year’s CES in Las Vegas, Nevada. This year’s CES is coming to an end and unfortunately, Razer had to face a bad experience because a thief stole two or three laptops from their booth.

According to previous reports by Auto World News, Razer’s co-founder Min-Liang Tan said that on Sunday, January 8, 2017, there was an accident in their booth at CES in Las Vegas. A thief stole two Valerie prototypes from the press room at 4 pm and there is still no news about how the thieves managed to steal them and vanish unnoticed. These Valerie prototypes are clearly very important to Razer, with reason and they are offering a reward money of $25.000 to anyone who can give them any information about the criminal suspect who is responsible for this incident. Razer thinks this incident is cheating because they announced a new gaming laptop as an innovative and fresh concept of a triple screen laptop. Razer created this laptop in order to ease the use of it while gaming. This is not the first theft incident. In 2011, a thief also stole two prototypes from Razer in San Francisco.

Even though this information about missing prototype is still not confirmed, people believe the triple monitor gaming laptop and its gaming projector are missing from the booth, Tech Spot reported. But the theft is not the biggest problem, the security guards are good for keeping the devices out of the show and determine if people leave with something that doesn’t belong to them. Razer’s team reached out and asked everyone who could help with the investigation to email them. Since this is a project they worked so hard to build, they are offering $25,000 for everyone who can help them.
