Photos of the new 2013 Honda Civic have been making there way around the internet and so far the car has already met its fair share of criticism.

The newest line of the popular Civic series is expected to be released on Nov. 29 and while the car has more enhanced features the previous model, some people expected more out of the exterior design.

"That's it?," said Dan Roth of Auto Blog in a review of the new design. "You may be expecting something a lot more heroic for the 2013 Emergency Refresh of the Honda Civic, but from what we can make out in these new spy photos, the changes are more detail than drastic."

The biggest change to the vehicle's exterior is the new bumper, projector beam headlights and taillights. Other than that the car is extremely similar to the 2012 model which was released last year.

The features for the new model were revealed at the 2012 Paris Auto Show where the company revealed that the car will have a direct injection engine, similar to the 1.8 liter engine that current models use.

The vehicle will also feature a CVT transmission to "enhance horsepower and improve the fuel economy" according to Rushlane.

Honda also stated at the Paris Auto Show to expect adjustments to the suspension and powertrain capabilities in the new model. The adjustments are expected to improve the Civic's drivability.

The company will hold a press conference at the LA Auto Show later this month where it is expected that they will officially reveal the new car.
