CES 2017 UVify Draco Drone Can Reach To Even 100mph

For those who want to own a racing drone, this Draco drone from UVify will help them beat everyone on their way. Drones have come very far today, and the Draco drone is here to prove it.

According to The Verge, Draco drone was a real attraction at this year’s CES Drone Rodeo in Las Vegas, Nevada. Draco drone can reach a speed up to impressive 100mph and it will cost the owner $499. But, with a great speed can come to a great damage, but UVify thought about everything, if the owner got carried by his adrenaline and crushed the Draco drone, it contains modular parts so the owner can easily buy replacements for the broken bits. Believe it or not, drone racing is someone’s career. Three years ago, drone racing became very popular and people started quitting their jobs or dropping out of college to become a full-time drone racer. The Drone Racing League raised $12 million to build out its competition. Even though this sounds so fun, it is also dangerous, with a blink of an eye someone could get hurt.

Drone Rodeo represents a few dozen people hanging out in the middle of Nevada desert with a couple of tents, a food truck, free sandwiches and of course drone racing. This sounds fun but people can’t see much from the sidelines. Pilots are using Virtual Reality goggles in order to see the obstacles better and avoid them. ESPN broadcasted a few races but from the cameraman perspective, PC Mag reported.

However, racing drones have cameras which send a video signal back to the operator and they could be used as intercut with race footage to make it more compelling. Those who attended the Drone Rodeo got the chance to fly some of the models in order to experience the adrenaline pilot's get.
