During the 2017 Detroit Auto Show, the VLF Automotive X-Series was labeled as the worst vehicle showcased. Apart from it being overly enhanced, car enthusiasts indicated that several parts of the model were scraps from better vehicles such as the Chevrolet Colorado and was not supposed to be an SUV but a truck due to such parts.
The vehicle was paraded in cheddar cheese exterior paint with a faux Hummer grille. Based upon a car review, the VLF Automotive X-Series was considered to be an over-enhanced vehicle. In fact, the company was lodged to be that type of carmaker that had the ability to ruin favored models due to its over-improvement of such models.
As reported by Auto Blog, the booth of the brand showed that the biggest vehicle was the X-Series and yet, it was deemed as something that looked similar to already established vehicles such as the Hummer H3 and the old Lamborghini LM002. Furthermore, it was also labeled as fragile yet militaristic looking but with an unimpressive one-off concept.
The parts incorporated also seemed copied ranging from the C7 Corvette taillights to the upgraded suspension. In fact, the other vehicles that the model was referred to be copying were already enhanced enough that putting all the parts together into one model seemed inappropriate or unnecessary, the report indicated.
In other news, Car Scoops reported that it likewise looked like a replica of the Hummer. On top of which, it also critiqued how the stickers were cheap-looking, that the shape of the body was awkward, and that the vision was not clearly shown.
