Jay Leno Featured The Performance Of Ring Brothers' G Code Camaro On The Road

A lot of old-school performance cars featured this season by Jay Leno's Garage including a Buick Grand National 1987 and Chevrolet Corvette 1967, but either of those vehicles is much power as the Camaro G-Code 1969. Created by the Ringbrother the G-Code has looks of '69 Camaro but it comes with many other custom features boosting the performance of this car.

In order for the car to increase its performance, a lot of work was done. For the exterior, nothing was changed for the '69 Camaro to preserve its sharp body lines and muscle stance. The Camaro was finished in a hue called Blue Print and they also added a Flowmaster stainless steel exhaust system. Furthermore, the custom wheels are inspired by the ones found on the IROC-Z from the 1980s. On the other hand, the interior features the same amount of exquisite detail with custom work by Upholstery unlimited.

The engine comes with a 6.2-liter LS3 V8 that sits under the hood with a supercharger for good measure. Brothers estimate power roughly 1,000 horsepower which is drawn down through a Tremec six-speed transmission.

A full aftermarket suspension setup was fitted in the muscle car by Detriot Speed to ensure that the car can also go around the corner. The 15-inch rotors in front and 14-inch rotors in the back was also set up by Baer Brakes to slow the speed of the car.

"It is always a challenging thing in doing such a popular car model but Mike and I sat down and we are really thinking about how we could succeed and do this car differently. We are really happy with how The G-Code Camaro came out," Co-founder of Ring Brothers, Jim Ring said.

The Ringbrothers managed to integrate modernity while keeping the Camaro's classic lines. They took special care to stay within the boundary of what makes the 1969 G-Code Camaro iconic.
