Ram 1500, the off-road powerhouse, is known for its bold and aggressive look which commands attention. Ram has now decided to turn up a notch with the Ram Rebel Black special edition debuting at the Detroit Auto Show next week.
The Rebel Black will be available in all Rebel exterior colors and for the first time it will add black wheels, a brush guard, and an all-black interior. The black theme continues inside with all-black heated seats with Rebel embroidery. It has a light slate gray accent stitching with black anodized bezels on the doors, center console, instrument panel, and gauge cluster trim rings. Ram also offers the optional black leather Katzkin seats, reported Automobile Mag.

The Ram 1500 Rebel is one of the best vehicles that is delivered by the automaker. It features a factory lift, 33-inch all-terrain tires, Bilstein shocks, skid plates, tow hooks, custom Rebel interior, and air suspension for increased ride height. The Rebel's Ram 2500 Power Wagon, includes many of the same rugged goodies but also features a sky-high 14.3 inches of ground clearance, reported CNet. "Adding the Rebel Black package to an already aggressive off-road truck will continue feeding the momentum Rebel is creating for the Ram Truck brand," said Mike Manley, head of Jeep and Ram brands.
Ram joins the ever growing trend of "blacking out" vehicles with Black or Night packages. It was recently added with the 2017 Ram 1500 Night Edition that includes a gloss-black grille, blackout headlamps, black badges, and 20-inch semi-gloss black wheels. Some popular Night and Black editions include the many Chevrolet Midnight editions, Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe Night Edition, Hyundai Tucson Night Edition, and the Porsche Cayman Black Edition.
The Ram 1500 Rebel Black is available in crew cab form only and powered by either the 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 or the 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6. The special model starts at $46,910 (including destination.) It will be available from March 2017.
