Honda Introduces Pink 'Fit She’s Series,' The Only Car Aimed Just For Women (PHOTOS)

Honda has reportedly created their first car designed, produced and advertised with women in mind.

The new Honda Fit She's series comes with a predictable pink paint job after the company conducted tests to see which color women were more likely to purchase when looking to buy a car.

The sticker price for the car starts at $17,500 and is currently only available in Japan. The company has yet to announce whether or not they will make the car available in other countries like the U.S.

The car features a "Plasmacluster" climate control system and UV-blocking window glass to protect against too much exposure to the sun while driving.

Honda has briefly discussed that they will be eventually offering another version of the She's series which will come in "eyeliner brown" according to the auto company.

In 1955, Chrysler created the LaFemme, which was a sedan that included custom storage places to put items like a purse or hat. The company really believed that it would be a hit due to the features that other cars couldn't offer.

They even customized the driver's seat to swivel which allowed a woman wearing a skirt to enter and leave the car without having to worry about their dresses riding up. The series was a complete flop however, as many women couldn't afford to purchase the vehicle on their own back then due to gender roles being different than they are today and lower salary opportunities available for women as well.

In a study conducted by J.D. Power and Associates, women reportedly purchase over a third of vehicles sold in the U.S. today however according and they influence at least 60 percent of all vehicles purchased as well.

Perhaps the U.S. may be the next destination for the Fit She's series after all.
