New Hyundai Fuel Cell SUV With Longer Mile Range Slated To Be Released In 2018

Hyundai is now working to develop the next line of Hyundai Tucson fuel cell SUVs. Hyundai reportedly plans to create an upgrade version of the fuel cell capacity with the range of 348 miles. The second generation fuel cell has approximately 30 percent bigger than the previous version.

Hyundai Tucson 2014 model did deliver something impressive to the market for previous years, with 265 miles of range on a full tank. But most of the consumer will necessarily go for the bigger fuel capacity for better quality concern which other competitors has, such as Honda's Clarity and Toyota's Mirai.

Toyota Mirai has 312 miles on a full tank which are bigger than Hyundai Tucson 2014 model while Hondas Clarity has 366 miles of range and considered as the highest range of the three SUV. The second generation of Hyundai Tucson will sit in between of the two cars and almost the same as Honda Clarity fuel Cell.

When it comes to pricing, the new Hyundai Tucson price is around $50,000, which might play well on the market because it is more expensive compared to GM's Chevy Bolt that has only $37,967 according to on some unnamed sources. This second generation of fuel cell SUVs will expectedly roll out in 2018.

Hyundai Tucson price might affect their sales due to its expensiveness. This will tend to have less interest for some consumers that are more in favor in more affordable vehicles.

In Addition, Hyundai plans to have a challenge with the Toyota with its electric vehicle, Hyundai states during its fuel cell-powered commercial bus in 2017.  According to Nikkei, Hyundai plans to release its first ever electric SUVs vehicle, named the loniq in 2019. This vehicle is expected to have an electric system and has the hybrid version of gasoline for an additional option.

The fuel capacity of the second generation Hyundai Tucson has been developing and the obviously can consider as expensive one maybe for some reason that hasn't yet revealed.  Hyundai Tucson might add some interesting features in 2018 that makes it worth.
