Apple and Samsung are the biggest companies which are making the rules on the market. The Chinese phone maker Huawei surely found its place among these giants and with the newest models P9 and P9 Plus, Huawei made their record shipments of more than 10 million.
Huawei is following the trend for strong looks, smooth software and great implementation f dual-lens camera setup. Huawei is heading towards the U.S. market which made the P9 Plus unavailable in the West, but this couldn’t stop fans to get their hands on this phone beast, and they sold more than 10 million phones worldwide. During Q3, Huawei shipped more than 33 million smartphones, Digital Trends reported. Huawei already has been placed successfully in the UK, France, and Germany. Huawei expects to sell more than 12 million P9 and P9 Plus during 2017. In 2016, Huawei announced that they surpassed their goal of 140 million smartphones sold. Their goal was to sell 100 million smartphones but now, they can call it a successful year for sure.
According to GSM Arena, for 2017, Huawei expects the rate to be around 32%. But it looks like they are not very optimistic about the new year since their goal for 2016 was 35%. The company doesn’t seem optimistic because they will have to face even greater global political and economic uncertainties than they faced in 2016. Even though in 2016 there was a lot of political and economic sweep around the world, Huawei’s team focused on their work and made a great success for the company hitting the record of 10 million marks.
However, even though they aren’t very optimistic, they are working day and night and have very ambitious goals, according to Phone Arena. Huawei is planning to jump in front of Apple in two years which will make the company second largest smartphone manufacturer, and in five years, Huawei is planning to become the largest player in smartphones with taking down Samsung.
