First Look At The 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLA And The Mercedes-AMG GLA 45

In just a few days, the 2017 Detroit Motor Show will begin and the 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLA along with the 2017 Mercedes-AMG GLA 45 will be presented. Both are expected to be facelifted and will introduce interesting aesthetic innovations such as technology and equipment.

2018 Mercedes-Benz GLA

The guys from Mercedes want to start the year by presenting their first great novelty, the facelifted 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLA. Yesterday, the brand released the first teaser detailing the front lines of the new Mercedes Class GLA according to Motor1.

Comparing the teaser of the 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLA with the current Mercedes GLA, obvious cosmetic changes such as the bonnet with a more muscular line, a new front bumper, updated headlights as well as changes in the grille and lower grille are highlighted. At the rear, one can also see a group of revised lights as well as redesigned bumpers, along with new designs of tires and colors for the body illustrate the perfect finish.

As for the interior of the 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLA, one can anticipate that there will be new finishes and items of equipment. New upholstery and trim, system information, driving aids, and an entertainment system that has an 8-inch screen will be some of the elements that will be featured in the new GLA class.

2017 Mercedes-AMG GLA 45

Mercedes-Benz is also finalizing the AMG variant and will also present the 2017 Mercedes-AMG GLA 45 at Detroit. Spy photographers were able to capture it today showing evident differences with respect to the regular variant, according to AutoCar.

The 2017 Mercedes-AMG GLA 45 will have a more muscular look and comes with a more aggressive front but will have the same aesthetic developments that the Facelifted GLA will have. Add it up to the usual treatment of the AMG sports division in the back with a large rear spoiler and a more aggressive bumper. And although it's camouflaged, the 2017 Mercedes-AMG GLA 45 cannot hide its twin exhaust pipes.

Interestingly, this prototype has the same color as the copy on the teaser that Mercedes published. Could it be the same car? Check out the teaser photos and the spy photos below.
